The participants will be benefiting from the versatile choreography background of the well-known international choreographer Gaetano Posterino. Two choreographies are planned for the workshop. Next to dance technics the workhop will also focus on artistic aspects as well as on a big fun factor.

Gaetano Posterino (Italy) is a freelance dance director, choreographer and ballet master. He completed his dance training at the National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto from. After a first engagement at the Balletto di Toscana he danced for a variety of companies in Italy, Argentina, the United States (San Francisco Ballet), the UK (English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet), Denmark (Peter Schaufuss Ballet), Switzerland (Lucerne Ballet ) and as first soloist at the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden.
Parallel to his dance career produced since 1997 a large number of the most versatile, international choreographic works for ballet (classical, neoclassical, modern, contemporary) and opera. Gaetano Posterino choreographed among others for Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden (house-choreographer 2004-2007), International Dance Theater Reutlingen (artistic director and principal choreographer 2004-2011), Augsburg Ballet (house-choreographer 2007-2010), theater casting, Theater Hagen, Mainfranken Theatre Würzburg, Tanzhaus Dusseldorf, Aarhus Dance Festival Denmark, Ballet Istanbul Turkey, Metropolitan Opera House New York, Bilbao Dance Festival Spain, International May Festival in Wiesbaden (2001-2004), Ballet de Santiago, Pennsylvania Ballet Pitzburg USA, Semperoper Dresden, Teatro Massimo Palermo Italy, and since 2001 for its own Posterino DANCE COMPANY. In addition to the choreographic creation Gaetano Posterino cares for productions almost always creative around the costume and lighting design.
