Blood Tendrils is the best melee combat ability available in RuneScape 3 and is not unlocked until you are in the middle of the game. The ability is required to have 75 Attack to use, and is one of only five bleed abilities available to fight. It can result in the most effective sword fights on the game.

Affected targets will suffer anywhere from 36 percent to 180% damage as well as an additional bleeding effect. However, the person casting it will also suffer damage from bleed. Thus, it is important that players do not apply this when their HP is low, as the ability can cause death.

Runelite HD is a mod (made by one individual, 117) that utilizes Old School RuneScape and gives it an HD revamp. Since the year 2018, Jagex were issuing legal threats against mods like this, alleging copyright infringement. However, these appeared to have been dismissed as Jagex gave their blessing to the original Runelite.

However, earlier in the week, just hours before the enhanced Runelite HD was due for an official release, 117 was contacted by Jagex and demanded that work be stopped and the release be canceled. This time, however, it's not due solely to claims of copyright, but rather because Jagex claims they're creating their own HD upgrade.

While this may sound reasonable at first, there's a major issue. Runelite HD doesn't actually seem to violate any of Jagex's modifications guidelines. In fact, the company has announced that new guidelines informing us of the fact Runelite HD does actually break its guidelines are being released in the coming week.
