World of Warcraft Movie Review Roundup

Prior to the release of the film this week. Reviews for Legendary's new World of Warcraft movie have been published online. And not everyone was happy with it.

We've put together excerpts from some of the reviews below and will keep updating this article as new reviews are made available.

World of Warcraft was directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) who has previously declared that he was planning to make two more films. When the film is released in the US, we'll have more information about whether the critics' reviews have an impact on box-office performances.

The film features Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Robert Kazinsky, and Toby Kebbell. The movie will premiere on June 10.

It's not the only video game-based film of the year, and it certainly won't be the last. Animation films based upon Ratchet & Clank and Angry Birds came out earlier this year, while Assassin's Creed opens in December.
