The teaser of Black Ops 7 is not only about giant, bombastic elements, it is all the small details that reveal the actual story. There are some subtle hints even to the most ardent viewer that have slipped past five times even though you are not actively watching the setting or noticing Boosting strategies that may work in multiplayer. We may begin with the clock on the wall.
Approximately 20 seconds in the teaser, there is a wall clock in the background of the main character. It is tired, has a fractured face--and it is stilted at 11:59. That's no accident. Time-loop mechanics were also applied in the Zombies mode of Black Ops 4, and 11:59 implies a countdown, perhaps to some central event in the narrative of BO7. Is it a countdown to a nuke? A facility breach? Or something else entirely? It is just imprecise, but it is sufficient to leave the fans with doubts.
Then go and see the graffiti on the alley wall. The teaser walks through a small street taking a few seconds, and when you pause, you will notice a tag on it which consists of the word NOVA in bold bold red color. The name of the lethal nerve gas in the original Black Ops, Nova, should ring as a bell--it appears in some of the most popular missions in the game. The revival of the Nova name may imply that the theme of chemical warfare will be re-examined in the campaign by BO7 or that the gas will be introduced into the maps that would allow multiple players.
Then also the dripping sound of water. It is like a steady murmur in the background, but it you listen are drips not just anywhere--they are all in a pattern. It has already been broken by fans as Morse code and the message is not very long: ECHO. Echo may be a new faction, multiplayer mode or a major character. This is definitely not accidental because Treyarch has made use of Morse code in the past (the radio Easter eggs in Black Ops Cold War).
The second detail that is easily overlooked is the image in the puddle. It is partway through the teaser, the camera is drifting across a puddle on the floor, and in a moment you can see a figure in the water: a masked face which resembles an improved version of the bandana that Frank Woods used to wear. Woods is a Black Ops legend meaning the appearance of his figure may indicate that he will be back as a playable legend or as a mentor character in the campaign in CoD BO7 that may affect CoD BO7 Boosting strategies when players can test new loadouts and strategies. For the latest Cod 7 updates and tips, follow U4gm for expert guides and reliable services.
