Serie A may not be home to the very highest-rated players around, but there is a wealth of talent across a selection of teams that make it one of the more interesting of the top five leagues. 

We didn’t see many big signings come to the league, with Yann Sommer the only one to challenge the top ratings. However, the loss of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Marcelo Brozovic to the Saudi Pro League does mean some top talents have left.

Victor Osimhen was one of the stand-out players in world football last season, shooting Napoli to the top of the table and finishing as the Golden Boot winner with 26 league goals. A massive +5 upgrade has come his way, making him one of the best strikers in the game. 

Brought in to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma after he left for PSG, Mike Maignan certainly had big gloves to fill, and he has done it with aplomb. The Frenchman no longer has the top spot in the Serie A ratings, but does sit among the best players in the league.
